One of the two state flowers of HI. This light pink hibiscus was growing in front of a church in Hilo. I’ve never seen this shade before.
A Moose! How exciting to see such a large, majestic, northern being, who also happens to be totally vegetarian while being the biggest folk of the forest. I saw this guy a few weeks ago, late July, Algonquin Park. It was mid-morning and he was out having breakfast. Abeautiful blessing.
We continue with the Northern Ontario summer; I took this photo from Lake Opeongo, Algonquin Park in a canoe, a few weeks ago. I had no idea we had/have lilies in Canada, but have we do, and beavers love eating them!
Northern Ontario, this summer just before a storm moved in while camping.
